Nottingham’s biggest music event, Splendour is organized by Nottingham City Council and DHP Family, and also involves Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies.
A special year in the festival’s history, 2018 saw Splendour Festival celebrate its 10th anniversary, with a headline set from pop megastar Paloma Faith and stand-out performances from 90s heavyweights The Charlatans, post-punk heroes The Stranglers and pop icon Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

Paloma Faith
Paloma Faith Blomfield is an English singer, songwriter, and actress. She is known for her retro and eccentric style. Her debut album Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful? was released in 2009 and has been certified double platinum in the UK. Wikipedia
The Charlatans

Marc Almond

Bjorn Again
Björn Again is a parody of the Swedish pop group ABBA founded in 1988 in Australia, but now involving multiple touring troupes performing under the Björn Again name. The show takes its name from Björn Ulvaeus, a member of ABBA, and is a pun on the phrase “born again”. Wikipedia
Sophie Ellis-Bextor
Sophie Michelle Ellis-Bextor is an English singer, songwriter and model. She first came to prominence in the late 1990s, as the lead singer of the indie rock band Theaudience. After the group disbanded, Ellis-Bextor went solo, achieving success in the early 2000s. Wikipedia
